Current Projects
Our projects are as diverse as the sectors they are targeted at - they span both commercial business and arts sector activity.
Fruition has been awarded the contract to co-ordinate Year of Craft 2011 activities in County Kerry. The “Year of Craft 2011” is an initiative of The Crafts Council of Ireland and Craft Northern Ireland, marking the 40th anniversary of the Crafts Council of Ireland. The initiative aims to make the very best of craft from the island of Ireland more visible and more accessible to the wider public and to celebrate its diversity through a wide range of dynamic events and programmes throughout Ireland, North and South. The initiative is supported locally by Kerry County Council, The Kerry County Enterprise Board and Udarás Na Gaeltachta.

Fruition project managed the hugely successful Richard Cantillon School 2010 which took place at Siamsa Tíre on the 8th, 9th and 10th September 2010. Richard Cantillon (1680-1734) is widely credited as being the first person to use the word 'entrepreneur' when it appeared in his famous 'Essay on the Nature of Commerce in General' which was published in French in 1755.
The School, located near Richard Cantillon's birth place in Co. Kerry, celebrates his enormous contribution to modern economic thought and to entrepreneurial thinking by providing opportunities for the general public, to debate issues of national, educational, business and economic interest with entrepreneurs, economists, academics, students, and representatives from the media and public sector organisations. New insights collated during the School are accredited to source and relayed as a White Paper authoritative report to Government at the end of the School each year. See www.richardcantillon.com for more information
